About the 2018 Honorees:

Community Outreach Program (InnerCity Tennis)
Inner City Tennis’s Community Outreach Program was developed to address the achievement and opportunity gap in Minneapolis. By learning the skills of tennis, kids improve their physical ability and performance. Participants build positive character through seven core values which are infused into all of the curriculum, on- and off-court. Minnesota Future Problem Solving Program
The Minnesota Future Problem Solving Program encourages students to become agents of change in their community by teaching critical and creative thinking skills as well as problem solving and decision making skills. Students explore challenges in the community, determine the underlying problems, brainstorm possible solutions, develop criteria to determine the best solution, and develop and carry out an action plan. For more information visit http://www.mnfpsp.org/
